When most important events have specific days to remember, breastfeeding is celebrated over a week, to emphasise the need to protect and nourish the babies who are our future citizens, right from birth. It is the baby’s birthright to be breastfed for all round growth and development. 

new medical centre organised an awareness and education program “Step up for Breastfeeding – Educate and Support” on August 4, 2022. Dr. R. Chidambaram, Senior Paediatrician spoke on the benefits and importance of breastfeeding. The doctor also addressed various questions and concerns posted by the new mothers during the session.
